Panties Across the Bridge

In 2012, Kevin, along with several other artists, was asked to create a series of work to raise awareness and encourage proactive health care screenings for women in order to avoid gynecological cancers.  The works below are two from from a series of 10 created by Kevin Booher for the Jaymie Jamison Foundation for Cervical Cancer Awareness, “Panties Across the Bridge” Exhibit, August 2012. All original artworks were painted using acrylic and oil paints with mixed media collage applied to a gesso primed cotton canvas while the artist was thinking of this non-profit organization's work on behalf of women and their families, and gynecological cancers generally, whose online presence may now be found here:  The Jaymie Jamison Foundation for Hope. Please note that half of all proceeds received from any artworks purchased from this series will be provided directly to this organization.
