Purchasing Artwork:  Our Process Explained...Your Questions Answered

 

Forge: The Artwork of Kevin Booher LLC is committed to ensuring the best available information security technology tools are utilized when processing your digital/electronic payments from our website, all while ensuring consumer privacy law compliance to safeguard your personal information and data. For that reason, we use PayPal for Small Business and their PayPal Invoicing solution,  the industry gold standard in our view, to process our artwork purchases and payments. made from our Virtual Gallery. The oldest and most reliable electronic payment processing solution for small businesses, PayPal Invoicing contains multiple security services, including secure data transfer connections (TLS/HTTPS), data encryption (SSL), and built-in safeguards to ensure consumer privacy law compliance with industry standards foundations including PCI-DSS, to protect your financial information in-transit when online transactions occur. 


Here's how it works…You can select any artwork available for purchase from within any of our Virtual Galleries by simply clicking the Contact to Purchase button located on each available artwork for sale. This will launch a simple Purchase Artwork form to complete by first selecting your desired Shipping Option, then clicking the Submit button on the bottom of the form when you’re ready to make your artwork purchase. (Please see the screenshot below.)

  • Standard Shipping (Receive Artwork Within 14-21 Days Max.) If you select this option, we will ship your item using either the US Postal Service or UPS Ground shipping methods, choosing the least costly rate available to ensure receipt of your artwork within 21 days, but likely sooner. 
  • Expedited Shipping (Receive Artwork Within 5-7 Days Max.) If you select this option, we will ship your item using either the US Postal Service Priority Mail or UPS Ground Advantage or 3-Day Select air mail shipping methods, applying the least costly rate available to ensure receipt of your artwork within 7 days, but likely sooner. 
  • If Local, Email to Schedule Pickup from Covington: No Shipping Charges!  Simply select this item and Forge will email you to schedule a convenient pick-up date and time to receive your new packed and protected artwork within a seven-day period upon purchase and payment.


Your desired Shipping Option will be followed and calculated, along with any Purchase Savings or Discounts, within your individual PayPal Invoice, sent via email to you.


From here, within 48 hours after clicking Submit, you will receive an encrypted email generated from PayPal from the following Sender:  [Forge Gallery: The Artwork of Kevin Booher <stephmaw2000@gmail.com>].


Next simply click the View and Pay Invoice hyperlink to open your secure individual Invoice. After you’ve confirmed all Invoice details and Items are correctly priced and/or discounted, you have three options for securely processing your payment: Select the Pay with: PayPal button, or, just below this button, from Other Ways to Pay, select the Debit or Credit Card button, or Pay with Venmo button, enter your secure information, and click the blue Pay [Amount] button to complete your payment.


Forge Gallery: The Artwork of Kevin Booher guarantees full refunds to be issued to any unsatisfied customer for any reason, to be issued within a 14-day period upon Forge’s receipt of said refund request.

Purchase Savings: Special Series Discounts

 

When an artist creates a series of artworks related to a particular theme or subject, this typically indicates the artist views that subject matter as important, and the artist has a lot to say about that particular subject through their work. 


An opportunity to collect more than one artwork within an artist's series of works can often provide a more meaningful dialogue between you and your artworks. Collecting a second work by an artist you appreciate can also contribute to future potential artwork valuation as viewed by professional appraisers, auctioneers or other buyers.  We realize that regardless of your financial situation, purchasing any artwork is a commitment to something bigger than your own critical survival needs (or that of your family) and other daily necessities, such as food, housing, health care, transportation, and much more. 

 

To recognize and reward your commitment to Kevin's artwork as demonstrated by your purchase of two or more artworks, you will receive one of the following series discounts:

 

  • Purchase two (2) or more pieces from either Lighthouse series and receive a $125 discount

City of Covington Residents: First Time Purchase:  Receive $25 discount from single item purchase, $50 from two or more items purchase.  All subsequent purchases will receive 10% discount. 


City of Cincinnati Residents: (Wait a sec, you mean it’s okay to cross the river, too? Yeah, we think so.  Cincinnati is our big sister!) Receive $75 discount for any purchase valued at $350 or greater.
